vBulletin should automatically append double (or more) posts

SolarFlux posted the spoilerized replies below in the What are you reading thread. He should have used the multiquote feature, but he instead ended up posting 8 times in a row.
If a user post more than one reply to a thread with no one else posting between the first and subsequent reply or replies, the system should just append the first post with the subsequent posts. I don't know if a modification would be needed, but I think it may be worth it.
Just read the Invisible Man...looking forward to reading War of the Worlds...and the Time Machine...and others...

How was the Kundera book? Unbearable Lightness was pretty good, or so I recall...except for all the bunk about 'eternal recurrence' never could 'get into' Marquez...
Iv'e every intention of someday reading Moby Dick...

Classic...although my favorite Vonnegut book has to be Bluebeard...
Also, don't ever watch the movie Slaughterhous Five, it's rather...campy.

Damn, I'm reading Foundation right now, it's pretty good so far...figure it won't take long to blast through the trilogy then maybe read Prelude and the others...
So far, I like the idea of how a cult religion has sprung up from science as a necessity to....well, I don't really want to ruin it for whoever hasn't read it, but clever and funny.

Man, could only get about half way through The Castle...intend to try to read it again, Metamorphosis is great.

Have you read Leviathan by Thomas Hobbes? If so, would you say it says much the same things as the Prince? I haven't read it, but I have it...it looks a bit lengthy to start at the moment though.
Well we are on the subject, have you read much of The Age of Reason, seventeenth-century philosophers? I have a bunch of Decartes, Locke, Spinoza, ect to plow through.
well, maybe not plow-through, philosophy is pretty slow-reading.

I like Ellis's "broken narrative" style of writing. Gotta say though, enjoyed the movie American Psycho more than the book, same kind of deal with Fight-Club...they both just worked out so damn good as movies.

Is Tolstoy any good? I'm pretty fond of Dostoyevsky right now...Russia's produced some good thinkers...almost as many as Germany *laugh*
Or you can just click the little arrow by the poster's name. His posts aren't true double posts in that the content is wrong, but he was on a solo posting spree and if the addon ADM linked to had been installed, every reply he made could have been contained within one post as if he'd used the multiquote feature.Posted 02-20-2009 at 04:34 PM by Bludd -
