accessing Internet on desktop through laptop?
Does anyone know of a good way to access the Internet on a desktop through a laptop's wireless connection?
Several websites say that this can be done by bridging the wireless and wired connections on the laptop, and then connecting the laptop to the desktop. However, this method seems to be BS: not only does it not work, it actually makes my Internet stop working! A few other sites say that I must enable ICS for the wireless connection, but this doesn't seem to work either. I'm running out of ideas. Help, anyone? Both computers are running Windows 7, by the way.
