2) Insert your original file "duke3d.grp" in the folder

But you forgot the HRP Update Pack, and then the maphacks file is totally out of date.

It's a nice idea, but it needs to be coordinated with the people who are in charge of the various add ons. Some of those are in more flux than others -- Duke Plus, for example, has been undergoing frequent changes lately and any version you include is sure to be outdated very soon.

Yuo could update it once for a month for example. As for the mods first you must decide what mods do you want, definetely not all of them!

This pack would have to be updated every week because of Eduke32 and possibly Duke Plus, It would be more common sense to have links to the mods in the pack for the user to download them because in the end it will only cause confusion and frustrations for the mod authors when users post problems with a said mod that could have allready been fixed from a newer update.

To be honest, I only see this Ultimate Pack creating a bit more nuisance when people download it expecting the best of everything, and then encountering problems that have since been fixed in a newer version of whatever, and they don't know because they assume the Ultimate Pack is perfect.

It's just another copy of the contents lying around on the Internet that can cause confusion in people who don't fully know what each thing is up to.
